What happened
A premium consumer technology brand with strong North American awareness and a paid social programme that was not converting that awareness into revenue at scale. The brand was well known. Its products were well reviewed. Awareness was not the problem. The gap between awareness and purchase was.
Paid social campaigns were already running across Meta when the engagement began. They were generating impressions and some conversion activity. What they were not doing was working as a system. There was no creative strategy connected to performance data. There was no audience architecture beyond broad targeting. There was no retargeting infrastructure to recapture the audiences who had engaged but not purchased.
We rebuilt the programme from the audience level up. A dedicated library of creative was developed and tested from the performance history of what had run previously, identifying the message and format combinations that had shown the strongest signals and building from there. Dynamic product storytelling was introduced to give the brand a way to communicate product value in a social-first context that did not feel like advertising.
Audience architecture was built around three stages: prospecting audiences based on interest and behavioural signals, mid-funnel audiences who had engaged but not converted, and retargeting audiences for high-intent visitors who had reached product or cart pages. Each segment received different creative and different messaging.
The programme ran across the full fiscal year with continuous optimization. Overall sales grew 178% year on year. Paid social accounted for 41% of total annual sales. Revenue tracked directly from paid social exceeded $75,000 CAD.
