What happened

A women’s fitness studio with multiple locations across the GTA had been investing in paid advertising. The results were not matching the spend. The previous programme had accumulated $11,500 in media costs and was generating inquiries at $15 per call. For a business growing on memberships, that efficiency gap was limiting what was possible.

We started by understanding how each location's audience was actually searching. Near-me queries, branded terms, specific class and programme types were all mapped before any campaign was built. Google Ads structures were created for each location separately, reflecting the different competitive dynamics and audience profiles in each area.

Sitelink and call extensions were added to reduce the number of steps between search and contact. Paid social was introduced alongside search to build local awareness and retarget audiences who had visited location-specific landing pages without converting.

Landing pages for each location were updated to align with the campaign messaging and make the path from click to enquiry as direct as possible. Page and form design was optimized for mobile, where the majority of local searches were taking place.

Results were measured directly against the previous programme's benchmarks. From $778 in ad spend: 124 calls, 104 direction lookups, 76 page visits. One call per $4 against a previous rate of $15 per call and an industry norm to match.
